There are many famous trumpet players, both in the jazz and classical genres. Many of them have a distinct sound which can instantly be identified by the seasoned listener. Such is the sound of the incomparable Louis Armstrong, a man also known by many as the "Father of Jazz". All of them have a history and a story all their own, some tragic, some enlightening and all unique.
